Flavor and base

The actives are carried in a palatable liquid base with natural bacon-type flavor. That flavor is the reason most dogs treat PawBiotix as a topping rather than a chore. There is no added sugar, no artificial color, and no synthetic preservative system.

Serving and directions

Give one full dropper (1 ml) once daily, squeezed over your dog's food or directly into the mouth. As a weight-based guide, dogs under 25 lb do well on half a dropper, dogs from 25 to 60 lb on one full dropper, and dogs over 60 lb on one and a half droppers. Each 30 ml bottle holds about a 30-day supply at one dropper a day. Shake gently before use and refrigerate after opening to protect the live cultures.

Allergens and suitability

PawBiotix contains beef liver and fish-derived collagen, so it is not suitable for dogs with a known beef or fish sensitivity. It is made for adult dogs. For puppies, pregnant or nursing dogs, or animals on medication, talk with your veterinarian before starting. As with any new food, introduce it gradually over a few days. If your dog has a sensitive stomach, start at the low end of the weight range for the first week and build up from there, which gives the gut time to adjust to the new cultures and fiber without any fuss.
